Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the basis on which TRENDOID TECHNOLOGIES LLC DBA Hiwar Institute provides Arabic language instruction and on which you may use this website. Please read them before enrolling in any course or track.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

In these terms, "Hiwar", "we", "us" and "our" mean TRENDOID TECHNOLOGIES LLC DBA Hiwar Institute. "You" and "student" mean the person enrolling in or attending a course, or the parent or guardian enrolling a minor. "Course" means any level, track, or individual session we deliver.

Acceptance of Terms

By browsing this website, contacting us about a course, or enrolling in any Hiwar programme, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not enrol or continue using the site.

These terms apply to every student regardless of location or track. Where you enrol on behalf of a child or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf and that you accept responsibility for fees and conduct.

About Hiwar Institute

TRENDOID TECHNOLOGIES LLC, doing business as Hiwar Institute, is an online Arabic language institute. We deliver structured Arabic instruction through live classes led by qualified instructors, supported by a progressive curriculum, guided practice, and continuous feedback.

Our teaching is organised into three learning tracks:

  • Takallum Track - a speaking-focused roadmap taking students from first words to sustained conversation.
  • Tawasul Track - practical everyday communication, listening, and interaction in small groups.
  • Reading Track - Arabic letters and sounds through to reading complete texts with accurate pronunciation.

We may add, withdraw, or restructure courses and tracks from time to time.

Enrolment and Eligibility

Enrolment is confirmed once we have agreed your track and level with you and payment has been received. We will place you at the level we believe fits your current ability; if that proves wrong in the first sessions, we will move you at no extra cost.

Students under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for attendance, conduct, and fees. We may decline or end an enrolment where a course is unsuitable, where a group is full, or where these terms are breached.

Fees and Payment

  • Fees are quoted to you before enrolment and are payable in advance of the period they cover.
  • Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor. We do not store them.
  • Unless we agree otherwise in writing, fees do not include third-party costs such as external examination fees.
  • We may change our published fees, but never for a period you have already paid for.
  • Where fees remain unpaid, we may suspend access to classes until the balance is settled.

Classes, Scheduling, and Recordings

Classes are delivered live and online. You are responsible for your own internet connection and equipment. Please arrive on time; sessions run to a schedule shared with the whole group.

  • We may reschedule a session for instructor illness or other good reason, and will give as much notice as we reasonably can.
  • Where session recordings are included in your track, they are provided for your personal revision only.
  • Recordings may capture participants' voices and, where cameras are on, images. By attending you consent to being recorded for this purpose. Tell us in advance if you would prefer to keep your camera off.
  • Missed sessions are not usually refundable, but we will do our best to help you catch up through recordings and guided practice.

Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

Where you give us your mobile number and consent, we may contact you by SMS about your enquiry, your enrolment, and your classes. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of enrolling in any course or of purchasing anything from us.

  • Programme: class reminders, schedule changes, recording links, enquiry replies, and account or payment notices. Course updates are sent only where you have separately agreed to receive them.
  • Frequency: varies according to your enquiry and class schedule.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. Charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time. We will send one final confirmation and then stop messaging that number.
  • Help: reply HELP, or contact us on 601-591-3191 or at [email protected].
  • Delivery: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

Student Conduct

Our classrooms are respectful, patient places where beginners are welcome to make mistakes. We ask every student to:

  • Treat instructors and fellow students with courtesy, whatever their background or level.
  • Avoid disruptive, discriminatory, threatening, or offensive behaviour.
  • Refrain from recording, photographing, or streaming a session without our written permission.
  • Keep login links and class materials to yourself rather than passing them on.

Serious or repeated breaches may lead to removal from a class or termination of enrolment without refund.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, curricula, worksheets, assessments, recordings, branding, and website content are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws.

You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use them for your own study while you are enrolled. You may not copy, republish, resell, distribute, upload, or use them to teach others without our written permission.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or pause. We will always try to find a workable arrangement.
  • Where we cancel a course outright and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, you receive a pro-rata refund for sessions not delivered.
  • Sessions you miss without notice are not normally refundable.
  • Any statutory cancellation right you have under the law of your own country applies in addition to the above and is not affected by these terms.

Privacy and Your Data

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We do not sell, rent, trade, share, or export your personal information to third parties. Providers who help us run the service, such as our video conferencing, payment, and messaging providers, act strictly on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We teach with care and experience, and our instructors are qualified. Even so, language learning depends heavily on your own practice and attendance, so we cannot guarantee a particular level of fluency, examination result, or outcome within a given timeframe.

This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from your enrolment is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected course. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Third-Party Links and Platforms

This site and our classes may link to or run on third-party platforms, such as video conferencing or payment services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Their own terms and policies will apply to your use of them.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects an enrolled student, we will tell you directly before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site or attend classes after that point means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, and the courts of that State have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection right available to you where you live.
